The 17th Panhellenic Conference of the Hellenic Society for Infectious Diseases was held in Athens on 13–15 November. During the context of the conference, the program partners, Dr. Dimitra Kafetsouli, presented the CSN program, while Dr. Leonidas Georgalis, the first Greek Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP). The presentations were part of the round table titled “Strengthening the country’s preparedness: Surveillance – Networks – Public Health Training,” chaired by Professor Ch. Chatzichristodoulou, President of the National Public Health Organization (NPHO) Board of Directors, and retired Air Force Brigadier General D. Chatzigeorgiou, Chief Executive Officer of the NPHO Board of Directors.
